Voting for the 6th Annual British Kebab Awards is now Open!

We are now delighted to announce that we will be presenting the Sixth Annual British Kebab Awards. If you know a Kebab business, a restaurant, a takeaway or a food wholesaler whose work deserves recognition for their hard work then we invite you to nominate them for an award! Earlier this year, the 5th Annual British Kebab Awards celebrated and recognised the outstanding achievements of kebab businesses up, down and across the United Kingdom. Beginning as a small standing only reception in 2013, the Kebab Awards have grown and grown to hosting over a thousand people two years in a row at the awards both last year and the year before.

Since then the awards have become a Great British Institution and have been raising awareness of the incredible contribution made by the kebab industry to British society, culture and the economy for half a decade. Awards were presented to a huge variety of businesses from fine dining restaurants, takeaway shops and eateries to kebab vans from all-over the country including London, Northern and Southern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Among the winners were Veyso’s Brasserie, Atalay’s Kebab Van, I am Doner, Mezza Luna, Alla Turca, Gokyuzu, Efes Brick Lane and many others. For a full list of winners please follow this link.

This year as in previous years, politicians from all parties including cabinet member Andrew Percy the Minister for the Northern Powerhouse, community and business leaders including mayors and representaties from our important sponsors such as main sponsor Just Eat as well as Cobra Beer, Big K Products UK, the Crucial Sauce Company Galliard Homes, Galliard Homes and Alton & Co. were in attendance.
