The British Kebab Awards is one of the biggest events in the political calendar – and a welcome antidote to all the time we’ve spent in lockdown.

Though Blackburn has some of the finest Kebab shops in the country, since there are no semi-finalists in my constituency Medusa in Lancaster is flying the flag for Lancashire this year – so I’m throwing my support behind them.”
