NI takeaways shortlisted for prestigious UK-wide kebab awards

A number of restaurants and takeaways across the country have been shortlisted as the best in Northern Ireland at the British Kebab Awards.

The awards, run in association with JUST EAT and supported by the Kebab Alliance, are in their eleventh year and this year have attracted record-breaking numbers of entries.

They recognise and champion the efforts of local kebab takeaways and restaurants across the UK.

10 spots from every corner of Northern Ireland will battle it out for the title of ‘Best Kebab House in Northern Ireland’ 2023.

The following NI restaurants/takeaways have made it into the finals:

• Grab A Kebab, Omagh
• Kebab House Ballyhackamore, Belfast
• The Sphinx Glengormley
• The Pharaoh, Belfast
• Kebab House, Lisburn
• Chaska, Enniskillen
• The Sphinx Stranmillis
• Istanbul Kebab, Finaghy
• King Kebab, Portadown
• Kyles Kebab, Lurgan

Finalists from across the UK have a chance to win one of 20 prestigious awards at the ceremony which takes place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge Hotel, on February 28, 2023.
